GLAMOUR - Gust Load Alleviation techniques assessment on wind tUnnel MOdel of advanced Regional aircraft
The project aimed to optimize and experimentally validate, through an innovative wind tunnel aerodynamic model, a system to control the reduction of the burden load for advanced regional aircraft.
In this project, VICOTER performed the modal analysis on the carbon composite wind tunnel model. Specifically, modal tests were carried out both in the design phase, on individual parts of the model, in order to correlate the various manufactured components with the respective FEM models, and on the complete model, once installed in the wind tunnel in its final configuration.
